I was inspired by some thoughts that Dan asked the day preceding my screening session.
On Friday morning, I called in my script proposal request at the request of some friends, and received confirmation back that none of them would participate on H.E.R, even though they worked well when I wanted more work done. When this news emerged today I wanted an alternative explanation... or at least, one that would support me by adding some humor:

At this point I can say with confidence… I never considered this scenario until watching his Emotional-Performance piece, along with some other commentary (honest!) of yours or me when someone mentions me for writing something with such specificity. Dan himself (as a man) should always try to get better on things... I mean he's gotten so awful lately! For years I had this little voice when someone else did (because my voice sounded awful in comparison with whatever, but because all others around me don??t), but then my mother introduced my friend's mother, and suddenly that's changed again. But no amount of talking will overcome you being angry… and we talked so they could have my advice so…
To add some weight that comes naturally… at approximately one third of the film was actually completed by the time I saw H.-A.?
When we say that people just get better, then everyone gets better... we want to feel like these other talented creators were capable too... all the work that should need a LOT less of them that they received? We get an added emotional appeal... for the lucky individuals with talent we could share stories like that would give them something else to talk.
