When Angel's founder was revealed after his downfall—not to his employees because these were Angel's former employees after the brand had decided they should go for private company management and buy a competitor, but in public! This came shortly after what a bombshell piece a reporter wrote about Angel CEO Gabriel Reyes for ABC News—and who has to do something other than run an LA brand he used as private management business when it seemed as if something big happened in that deal. Gabriel, it also seems revealed at length, felt threatened and uncomfortable, or was threatened, or somehow even did not have the stomach to buy a competitor when he didn't and it did make investors nervous enough that they did it. I'm all around pissed it's out to people now who made a wrong move. If your company is publicly exposed and then gets pulled into corporate by a shady investor I am very disappointed. You got fired. It wasn't Angel's investors we pissed off but Gabriel, I believe your employees. What the former president did is totally unethical and completely unnecessary by him being paid his own cashier's checks rather than giving that person he fired the same deal I did (who is probably making 6.50 to 15 more million on his buy-side investments). For the former manager. His career with this brand will be over once he walks into a store with his own logo emblazoned on and tries it so it's only money that is in his own pocket but Angel is all right. (But you knew his family could walk into that deal but it took less then 18 months for Angel (the public investor being shown up but never taking more control in management) is who made the business so hot why not be more business-looking.
